Thermoforming and vacuum forming for demanding industries

Stokoplast A/S specialises in thermoforming and vacuum forming of technical plastic components for OEM customers.

For more than 45 years, we have supplied durable and precision-formed components to the truck industry and high-end interior brands. As a Tier 1 supplier for more than 40 years, we understand the importance of consistency, documentation and long-term reliability.

Our core processes

Our production is built around industrial thermoforming and vacuum forming, supported by advanced finishing and assembly processes.

Thermoforming

Thermoforming is a cost-efficient production method ideal for medium and large plastic components.

Maximum mould size: 3000 x 1250 mm

The process allows for lower tooling costs and shorter lead times compared to injection moulding, making it highly suitable for OEM projects and controlled series production.

Vacuum forming

Vacuum forming enables precise shaping of heated plastic sheets over moulds using vacuum pressure.

Maximum mould size: 2000 x 1000 x 650 mm

This method is particularly suitable for:

  • Truck sunvisors
  • Mudguards
  • Wind deflectors
  • Covers and protection plates
  • Technical housings

Our current portfolio consists of more than 50 active models.

Milling, trimming & finishing

After forming, components are processed and finished to ensure precise dimensions and high-quality surface finish.

We operate:

  • Robot milling
  • 5-axis CNC milling
    • Capacity: 2500 x 1200 x 700 mm
  • Laser cutting
  • Laser marking
  • Gluing (automated and robot-assisted)

This allows us to deliver ready-to-install components directly to our customers’ assembly lines.

Assembly

We offer assembly of components as part of our integrated production setup.

For customers in the truck and interior industries, this ensures:

  • Reduced handling
  • Fewer suppliers
  • Controlled quality throughout the process

Quality control & measurement

Precision and documentation are essential for OEM customers.

We use 3D measurement equipment (Wenzel): 1850 x 1100 x 650 mm

This ensures:

  • Dimensional accuracy
  • Stable repeatability
  • Documented quality

Capacity & facilities

  • 300,000 parts per year
  • 5,000 m² production area
  • Modern thermoforming and vacuum forming lines
  • Integrated trimming, gluing and finishing processes

Our setup is optimised for medium series production where flexibility and responsiveness are essential.

Why thermoforming?

Compared to injection moulding, thermoforming offers:

  • Lower tooling costs
  • Shorter development time
  • Flexibility in design changes
  • Ideal for larger components
  • Efficient for medium production volumes

A flexible OEM partner

Flexibility is part of our identity.

We often act as a technical sounding board in new development projects, supporting customers in:

  • Material selection

  • Design optimisation for thermoforming

  • Tool considerations

  • Production planning

Our experience ensures that ideas are efficiently transformed into reliable serial production.
